In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus made it clear that we are to love everyone, and he also made it clear that everyone is welcome in the Catholic church and in the Kingdom of God. God’s love extends to all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, whether they identify as heterosexual or gay. Acts of homosexuality are not in themselves a sin.

Is homosexuality a sin?
